What Stock Book does
Kilos, cartons and pieces, with conversions such as 1 carton = 10 kg.
Stock by location, with transfers between them recorded as they happen.
Lot number, production date and expiry for food, seafood and pharma.
Weighted average or FIFO, with closing stock value carried to the balance sheet.
Set a minimum for each item and see what to buy before it runs out.
Goods sent for processing and received back, with the data for ITC-04.
How it works
Import your item list with HSN, units and opening stock, or add items as you bill.
Approved purchase bills add to stock in the right godown.
Invoices take from stock. Negative stock is warned before you save.
Physical stock count adjustments are posted with a reason and an approval.
In detail
Stock Book keeps the reports short and to the point, so the owner and the godown in-charge read the same numbers.
