01Using the service

These terms apply when you sign up for or use Kubertree, the accounting and GST software described on this website. By signing up, you accept them on behalf of your business. If you are an accountant or CA invited by a business, they apply to your use of that business's books.

02Your account

  • The person who signs up is the account owner and decides who else gets access.
  • Keep login details private. Each person should have their own login.
  • You are responsible for what is done under your account, including by people you invite.
  • Give correct business details, including your GSTIN where you have one.

03Free trial and plans

New businesses get 30 days of full access free. At the end of the trial you can choose a plan. If you do not, your account becomes read-only and your books stay available to export.

Plans are priced per business per month and billed monthly or yearly in advance. Plan limits, such as invoices per year or AI Bookkeeper bills per month, are shown on the plans page. If you go past a limit, we will ask you to move up a plan before limiting new entries.

04AI suggestions and approvals

The AI Bookkeeper and Bank Match suggest entries and matches. Suggestions are not posted to your books until a user with approval rights approves them. You remain responsible for checking and approving entries.

Bills that are unclear, have a missing or invalid GSTIN or look like duplicates are flagged for review. We do not promise that every bill will be read correctly.

05GST returns and tax decisions

The service prepares GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and related working from your approved books, and reconciles purchases with GSTR-2B. Filing, payment of tax, and decisions on credit, classification and rates are yours and your CA's.

The service is not tax, legal or accounting advice. Due dates are shown as notified and updated when the government changes them, but you remain responsible for filing on time.

06Your data

Your books belong to you. We use them only to provide the service, as set out in the Privacy Policy. You can export your books at any time, including after your plan ends.

07Acceptable use

Do not use the service to issue fake invoices, pass on input tax credit without a real supply, hide income, or break any law. Do not try to break into, overload or copy the service. We may suspend accounts that do, and report them where the law requires.

08Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times and to plan maintenance outside business hours, and more carefully around GST due dates. Government portals are outside our control, so e-invoice, e-way bill and GST portal outages may affect some features.

We improve the service often. If we remove a feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance.

09Limits of liability

The service is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, interest, penalties or late fees arising from returns filed or not filed, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10Ending the service

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Refunds follow the Refund Policy. We may end the service for a business that seriously breaks these terms, after giving notice where possible and time to export its books.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are first to be raised with us through the contact page, and if not settled, are subject to the courts of Gujarat.
